On Saturday, April 22, we took to the streets of Bologna in great numbers, as in other cities, all united with the same goal: to say NO to the repression that these years hits harder and harder anyone who opposes this insane model of development, starting with the anti-rave decree that has placed us ourselvesx more under attack than ever before, with absurd punishments and a criminalization aimed at making us pass as the worst evil in society, along with migrants and political activists.
We chose to do that on the days when the liberation from Nazi-fascism was remembered, to reiterate that resisting and fighting is, today as yesterday, important and necessary.
Twenty thousand people – and who knows, many more? – took back the streets against the rhetoric of decorum, decay and security brought forth by the various parties of the right, as well as the “progressive” left that governs the city and the region, rejecting consumerist entertainment and social desertification imposed from above, and claiming another way of being together.
We dance and will continue to do so, to remember that there are those who do not surrend in prisons, on the streets, at the borders, against the racism and sexism that increasingly permeates this society, in public space as well as in private, and against all forms of discrimination.
The days following the street we witnessed, in the press and media, the usual political theater of the various parties, who, as per script, have nothing to say but complain about writing on walls and traffic disruptions. We do not care at all about the plays of these politicians, we fight for the reappropriation of our lives and spaces, to give them another meaning, free from capitalism.
We know that our path, made up of networking experiences and new connections, mutual comprehension and sharing, does not pass by an event alone; it is with this spirit that we will continue to produce initiatives and confrontation, between realities in the region and beyond, with self-managed organizations, crews and solidarity experiences from below.
We will continue to reaffirm our reasons as ravers and dreamers, for the No to a world of prisons and borders, the No to 41 bis, to gender abuse and violence!
The Harm Reduction Network was present during the parade, with the chill out zone, thus creating a moment free of judgment towards substance use that stimulates subjectivities to have a conscious approach.
We created a unique moment, which saw us overflowing into the streets of Bologna and expressing our desire for freedom with no borders: in diversity, a single endless collective body: on the 22nd we saw how the desire to participate and to huddle around our struggle is so great, let us not disperse this extraordinary energy!
We express solidarity with the burned wagon, it could have been any of us, by their side we will dance to make our revolution!

Sabato scorso siamo scesx in tantissime in strada a Bologna, come in altre città, tutte unite con lo stesso obiettivo: dire NO alla repressione che di questi tempi colpisce sempre più duramente chiunque si oppone a questo modello di sviluppo insensato, partendo dal decreto anti-rave che ha posto in primis noi stessx più che mai sotto attacco, con pene assurde e una criminalizzazione volta a farci passare come il peggior male della società, insieme a migranti e militanti politici.
Abbiamo scelto di farlo proprio nei giorni in cui si è ricordata la liberazione dal nazi-fascismo, per ribadire che resistere e lottare è, oggi come ieri, importante e necessario.
Ventimila persone – e chissà, molte di più – si sono riprese le strade contro le retoriche del decoro, del degrado e della sicurezza portate avanti dai vari partiti di destra, così come della sinistra “progressista” che governa la città e la regione, rifiutando il divertimento consumistico e la desertificazione sociale imposta dall’alto, e rivendicando un altro modo di stare insieme.
Abbiamo ballato e continueremo a farlo, per ricordare che c’è chi non si arrende nelle carceri, per le strade, alle frontiere, contro il razzismo e il sessismo che permea sempre più questa società, nello spazio pubblico così come nel privato, e contro ogni discriminazione.
I giorni successivi alla street abbiamo assistito, sulla stampa e sui media, al solito teatrino politico dei vari partiti, che, come da copione, non hanno altro da dire che lamentarsi di scritte sui muri e disagi al traffico. Poco ci importano le commedie di questi politicanti, lottiamo per la riappropriazione della nostra vita e degli spazi, per dargli un altro significato, libero dal capitalismo.
Sappiamo che il nostro percorso, fatto di messa in rete di esperienze e nuove connessioni, ascolto reciproco e condivisione, non passa solo da un evento; è con questo spirito che continueremo a produrre iniziative e confronto, tra realtà in regione e non solo, con le crew e le esperienze autogestite e solidali.
Continueremo a ribadire le nostre ragioni di ravers e sognatori, per il no ad un mondo di carceri e confini, il No al 41 bis, ad abusi e violenze di genere!
La Rete di Riduzione del Danno è stata presente durante la parata, con la zona chill out, creando così un momento libero dal giudizio nei confronti del consumo di sostanze che stimola le soggettività ad avere un approccio consapevole.
Abbiamo dato vita a un momento unico, che ci ha visto tracimare nelle strade bolognesi ed esprimere la nostra voglia di libertà senza sosta: nelle diversità, un unico interminabile corpo collettivo: il 22 abbiamo visto come la voglia di partecipare e di stringersi attorno alla nostra lotta sia tanta, non disperdiamo questa straordinaria energia!
Esprimiamo solidarietà al carro incendiato, poteva essere di chiunque di noi, al loro fianco danzeremo per fare la nostra rivoluzione!
